AMSC will be participating in the Ironwood Sundance on the Rosebud Reservation this August.
June 2020: AMSC Members traveled to the Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations this June to discuss upcoming Sundances and figure out how and when to bring Alaska visitors to South Dakota to learn the Sundance traditions. During the trip, AMSC agreed to work with Gilly Running, Intercessor for the Ironwood Sundance on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. The Sundance will be held August 13-16, with purification on August 9th and Treeday on August 12th.
